Norion Bank Group is a business-oriented Nordic financing bank. The Group's brands Norion Bank, Walley, and Collector offer customized financing solutions. Norion Bank Group (formerly Collector Bank) was founded in 1999 and has offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Helsingborg, Oslo, and Helsinki.
In the naming process, we worked with the core values of Norion Bank Group -- business-minded, committed, and caring. There was also a focus on a high level of service and accessibility. In terms of geographical location, the company wanted the 'Nordic region' to be included in some way, while at the same time being pronounceable and easily accessible in English. Since the trademark registers are quite crowded with names beginning with Nor-, we had to search widely and deeply. After a few turn, we finally settled on Norion, which could reflect and carry the wishes without being too close to other players.
Norion is based on word elements such as Nordic and Orion.
