A little more than a year ago, the search for a new name began together with the naming group at former Enstar. As experts in the energy sector and tailor-made energy solutions for different types of property companies, it was time to take the next step in their journey. An ambitious and engaging team inspired us to delve into different directions and name suggestions that could fit with the company's philosophy. With renewable energy systems and green business as the driving force and customer-centrality as the approach, there were many options to choose from, especially in the Nordic theme. Ferla stood out with its beautiful meanings, including as an old Nordic form of "butterfly" and "processes" in Icelandic. The name provided a summarizing story of the company's vision and goal - to pioneer society's transformation to sustainable, autonomous energy solutions for buildings.
